Welcome to the Leadership Profile

The Profile is based on the integration of the work of many investigators and multiple streams of research over the last thirty years into the way individuals adapt to their life circumstances. The Profile defines seven types of leaders, each is given a different colour. There is no right or wrong profile, each type of leader has different strengths and different blind spots.

The type of leader that you are tends to be determined by your work circumstances and your own personal development. When the business or your role changes, you might develop into a new type of leader or revert to a more primary type, otherwise your type tends to be relatively stable over time.

In addition to identifying your overall leadership type, the Profile identifies your two most important sub-types. It also characterises the sort of individual you find a challenge to work with and the kind of person you prefer to have on your team. The Profile reveals your motivation, your leadership style, the way you relate to others and your approach to strategy and commercial operations.
